How the Reveal Slideshow Works
After reveal, the gallery has a Start slideshow button that plays the approved photos full screen with play/pause, next and previous, three auto-advance speeds, shuffle and transitions. Hosts can preview it before reveal.

Where to start it
Once the capsule has revealed, the gallery has a Start slideshow button that plays the approved photos full screen. Hosts also get a Preview slideshow button on the dashboard before reveal, which becomes Open slideshow afterwards.
Who can play it, and when
- Guests can play the slideshow after the reveal time, from the same gallery link.
- Hosts can preview it before reveal from their dashboard, so the room is ready when the capsule opens.
- Before reveal, anyone without host access sees the locked capsule screen with the opening time instead.
Controls
- Play and pause, with next and previous controls.
- Auto-advance at three speeds — slow (5s), normal (3s) and fast (2s) — with a progress bar for the current photo.
- Shuffle, to play the photos in a random order.
- A choice of transitions between photos.
- Keyboard control on a laptop, including Escape to exit.
- Contributor names shown with each photo.
If the device or browser is set to reduce motion, transitions fall back to a simple fade automatically.
What you should see
The slideshow fills the screen with the event's approved photos and advances on its own, so you can put a phone or laptop on a screen and leave it running.
If nothing plays
A message saying no approved photos are ready means the capsule has no photos that passed moderation yet. Hidden and deleted photos never appear in the slideshow — see host moderation.
