What Open Roll Includes
Open Roll removes the standard per-guest photo limit for an event, subject to fair use and applicable event limits. It does not change the guest limit, the upload window, the reveal time or the 30-day retention period.

What Open Roll does
Open Roll is an add-on that removes the standard per-guest photo limit for an event, subject to fair use and applicable event limits. With it active, the host dashboard shows the per-guest allowance as Unlimited rather than a number, and guests are not stopped after a fixed count.
What it does not change
- The guest limit. How many people can join still comes from the plan. Open Roll adds photos, not places.
- The upload window. Uploads still open and close at the times set for the event.
- The reveal time. The capsule still stays sealed until reveal.
- Retention. Photos are still available for 30 days after reveal and are then deleted.
- Moderation. Hosts still review and can hide or delete any photo.
Fair use
Open Roll is designed for real events where guests shoot freely, not for bulk archiving. A fair-use ceiling applies behind the scenes so a single event cannot be used as unlimited storage. Normal event use will not run into it.
What you should see
With Open Roll active, guests keep uploading through the event without hitting "you've reached your photo limit", while every other rule for the event stays exactly as it was.
Adding it
Open Roll can be chosen at creation or added later from the host dashboard, on its own or alongside a plan upgrade in one checkout — see upgrading your plan or adding Open Roll and the pricing page.
