Plans, Guest Limits and Photo Limits Explained
Each plan sets two things: how many guests can join your event, and how many photos each guest can upload. The free First Flash plan also has an overall photo cap for the event.

The two limits
- The guest limit — how many people can join your event and contribute photos.
- The per-guest photo limit — how many photos each of those people can upload.
Both come from the plan you choose when you create the event. Current guest and photo allowances for every plan are listed on the pricing page.
The free plan
First Flash, the free plan, is designed for a small circle. In addition to its guest limit and per-guest photo limit, it has an overall cap on the total number of photos in the event. Paid plans are governed by the guest limit and the per-guest photo limit.
What you should see
When a limit is reached, further joins or uploads are refused with a clear message rather than failing silently.
Open Roll
Open Roll is an optional add-on. It removes the standard per-guest photo limit, subject to fair use and applicable event limits. The event's guest limit still applies.
If you need more room
- You can move to a larger plan from your host dashboard, including adding Open Roll in the same checkout.
- Limits are enforced on our servers, so upgrading is the way to raise them.
Troubleshooting
- "You've reached your photo limit for this event." That guest has used their per-guest allowance. Upgrading the plan or adding Open Roll raises it.
- A guest cannot join at all. The event has reached its guest limit for the current plan.
