How to Share Your Event QR Code and Guest Link
Your host dashboard shows a QR code and a guest link for your event. Guests can scan the code or open the link — both lead to the same join page, and neither requires an account.

Where to find them
- Open your host dashboard for the event.
- The QR code for your event is displayed there, along with the guest link and your event code.
- Copy the link to send digitally, or screenshot / print the QR code to display at the venue.
What you should see
Anyone who scans the code or opens the link lands on your event's join page, ready to enter a name and start uploading.
Ways to share
- Print the QR code on table cards, a welcome sign or the back of place cards.
- Send the guest link in the group chat you already use — no separate invite system is needed.
- Show the QR code on a screen or projector during the event.
- Share your event code so a guest can find the event manually if a link gets lost.
The QR code and the link point to the same place, so you can use both at once. Guests do not need an account, so nothing personal is required from them to join.
Troubleshooting
- The QR code will not scan when printed. Print it larger and keep clear white space around it; avoid printing it over a photo or pattern.
- A guest opened the link but cannot upload. The upload window may not be open yet, or may have closed — see why a guest can't upload photos.
- You cannot reach your dashboard. Recover access by verifying your host email again from find my event.
