For baby showers

Baby shower photo sharing with one QR code

Every guest at a shower takes photos: the gifts, the games, the cake, the parents-to-be. Put one QR code on the welcome table and guests add their photos to one private gallery straight from their phone browser. You approve what goes in and reveal it when you choose.

Free to try. One-time price per event, no subscription.

How it works at your baby shower

1. Create your capsule

Add the shower name and date, choose a plan, and set the upload window and reveal time.

2. Display the QR code

Print it on a welcome sign, the gift table or the dessert table, or add the link to your invitation.

3. Guests upload in seconds

They scan, enter their name and upload. No app and no account.

4. Reveal the gallery

At your reveal time, everyone sees the photos together, with a slideshow.

Baby shower photo ideas guests can capture

  • Gift opening: the reactions are the best part, and the host is usually too busy to photograph them.
  • Games and activities: ask guests to snap the winners and the funniest guesses.
  • Decorations and food: the cake, the balloon arch and the dessert table before anyone digs in.
  • Generations together: grandparents, aunts and cousins with the parents-to-be.
  • Advice cards or a message board: a photo keeps every note, even after the cards get lost.

Where to put the QR code at a shower

  • Welcome table or sign: guests see it as soon as they arrive.
  • Gift table: right where most of the photos are taken.
  • Dessert or drinks table: a spot where guests pause with their phones out.
  • The invitation: so guests who can't come can still add photos or a picture of their card.

Mention the code once during the shower, and tell guests when the gallery will open. More tips in our guide to sharing photos with a group without an app.

Baby shower photo sharing FAQ

How do I collect photos from a baby shower?

Create an Event Capsule, print the QR code on a sign or the welcome table, and ask guests to scan it. They upload from their phone browser and every photo lands in one private gallery that you reveal when you choose.

Do baby shower guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan your QR code or tap your event link and upload straight from their phone browser, on iPhone or Android. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

How much does baby shower photo sharing cost?

You can try Event Capsule free with the First Flash plan (up to 5 guests and 100 photos). Shower-sized plans are a one-time price per event: Core Memories US $8.99 for up to 20 guests, Photo Drop US $12.99 for up to 30 guests, Full Roll US $24.99 for up to 100 guests. There is no subscription.

Can we keep the photos hidden until after the shower?

Yes. Choose a reveal time, such as the evening after the shower. Guests can upload during the event, but the gallery stays sealed until the moment you pick, so the parents-to-be can see everything together.

Can I remove photos before guests see the gallery?

Yes. From the host dashboard you can preview every upload and hide or remove anything before the reveal.

Can guests who can't attend add photos?

Yes. Send them the event link. They can upload from anywhere while the upload window is open, for example a photo of their gift or a message board snap.

Can guests upload videos?

Not at the moment. Event Capsule collects photos only, which keeps uploads quick on home Wi-Fi and mobile data.

What if more guests come than my plan allows?

You can upgrade to a larger plan from the host dashboard, and the Open Roll add-on removes per-guest photo limits.

How long are the photos kept?

The gallery stays available for 30 days after your reveal time. During that window you can view the slideshow and download the full gallery, then the photos are deleted, so save the download somewhere permanent.
